About Rosie

Rosie is a registered veterinary surgeon, who before joining RCVS Knowledge in November 2023, spent over 9 years in clinical practice. Most of her work was in a mixed practice role in both private and corporate organisations. She spent 5 years working overseas in New Zealand, where she combined her love of travel with acquiring clinical experience in different farming systems.

Rosie has always been passionate about animal welfare and the quality of care provided to her patients. This includes appropriate antibiotic stewardship and the importance of doing our part to reduce antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the veterinary sector.

Her role within RCVS Knowledge as Antimicrobial Resistance Project Officer is to coordinate and help support the VetTeam AMR initiative. This includes working with steering groups, stakeholders, and multiple professional bodies to help veterinary professionals tackle AMR.
