About Jennifer

Jen qualified as an RVN in 2002 and has worked in a variety of privately owned first opinion practices, developing an interest in surgical nursing over the years. For the last 12 years prior to joining RCVS Knowledge, Jen worked at a privately owned orthopaedic referral practice, joining just a few months after they first opened. Her passion for surgical nursing flourished here and she gained her Certificate in anaesthesia in 2014.

Jen had been involved in creating and developing many of the practice guidelines and protocols as the practice grew, and completing her certificate really developed an interest in patient safety, EBVM and Quality Improvement. Jen gained a Certificate in Infection Control for Practice Standards in 2020.

Jen has developed a desire to encourage this passion in others and joined RCVS Knowledge in October 2021 to help the profession provide the best possible care to patients, clients and veterinary teams in all settings.
