Surgical safety checklist example

Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital created this template for monitoring surgical safety. Usage of this checklist was then audited by Megan Orr, a member of the Roundhouse team, who found a 94% compliance with completing checklists. Megan’s audit was awarded Highly Commended in the 2024 RCVS Knowledge Awards.
