In 2022, Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists were recognized as a Knowledge Award Champion for their work on introducing notice to anaesthetists, or NOTANs in the practice.

This idea is and is taken from the aviation industry. In aviation, NOTAM
stands for Notice to Air Missions. NOTAMs are safety notices issued to pilots which should be checked at the flight planning stage. NOTAMs are used to highlight safety issues to pilots along their route or at airfields. NOTAMs are mostly checked electronically.
