Added 8 June 2020 A report from the Minnesota Board of Animal Health confirms that a cat was confirmed to be infected with SARS-CoV-2, seven days after its owner was confirmed to be infected with COVID-19. The veterinarian reported that the cat presented at the clinic with a temperature of 105F and symptoms consistent with upper respiratory illness, a dog in the same household remains healthy at this time.
