The library has a range of electronic and print materials on all aspects of veterinary science.

Join the library

Whether you are studying for a post graduate qualification, or you need up-to-date information for your day-to-day practice, membership of the library allows you quick and easy access to quality resources. Membership is open to all qualified veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses. 

Member benefits

As a library member you’ll have access to resources and information to keep you up to date with the latest clinical research. Benefits of our membership include:

  • Access to a range of electronic resources with information available through a single search
  • Access to VetMed Resource – a database containing bibliographic records on all aspects of veterinary science and animal health
  • 25% discount on library services.

Visit us

If you would like to use library materials at our Hardwick Street office the Library and Information Services team are available 9.30am-4pm Monday to Friday. They can also provide specialist advice and support.

As much of our material is held off site, please contact us in advance to arrange a visit, together with a list of the material you would like to see.

The Hardwick Street office offers study space within the public area, with wifi access.
