A tribute to Peter Jinman OBE

Peter Jinman OBE was a well-loved veterinary surgeon and a longstanding and prominent member of the RCVS Knowledge Board of Trustees.

Peter served as a trustee of RCVS Knowledge from 2011 to 2020. He was also the President of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) from 2010 to 2011 and served on the RCVS Council from 2005 until 2017.

Amanda Boag, Chair of the RCVS Knowledge Board of Trustees, said, “Peter was a dedicated Trustee at RCVS Knowledge for nine years. He played a crucial role in the charity’s development from the RCVS Charitable Trust into RCVS Knowledge in 2013, emphasising its renewed focus on supporting the professions in improving the quality of care they deliver.

“He was an inspiration to work with, a great friend to everyone at RCVS Knowledge, and he will be dearly missed. Our thoughts are with Peter’s family.”
