About journal clubs

A journal club is an opportunity for a group of people to come together to discuss a published paper.

You may want to join a club to improve your critical appraisal skills, assess the quality of a paper, or discuss current practice and how changes can improve quality of care. Reading and reflecting on summaries and original material counts towards your continuing professional development (CPD)

Our journal club resources provide guidance in setting up and running journal clubs and offer regular suggested reading material and checklists to guide discussions.
